Candle Care and Safety
To ensure safety please follow these instructions
Never leave a burning candle unattended
Keep the candle out of reach of children and pets
Keep wicks trimmed to 5mm as untrimmed wicks can cause smoke
Always trim the wick before lighting
Never burn your candle for longer than 3-4 hours at a time
Excess burning can lead to the glass overheating or cracking
Never completely burn your candle, please leave around 5mm of wax in the bottom of the glass.
Always place the candle on a flat , heat resistant surface.
Give your Candle a memory
Soy wax has a memory, so when lighting a soy candle for the first time it is important to allow the wax to melt all the way to the edge of the jar.
The first time you burn your candle, please allow this to happen, if you don't allow the candle to pool to the edge, you may get wax remaining along the side of your jar.
What to expect from your Candle
As our candles are not mass produced but are hand poured with love, every effort is made to ensure our product is as consistent as possible.
Every candle will be slightly different and sometimes you may see some darker patches or even wet spots on your candle. This isn't a fault or anything to be concerned about, it is simply a small blemish where the wax has not attached itself tot the jar 100%.
It doesn't effect the candle in any way or how wonderful your candle will smell. The top of your candle may appear slightly uneven after it has been burnt but this is just a sign that the natural soy wax has been hand poured.
